If, like me, you've been struggling to find a vanilla scent that doesn't feel like you've been walloped with a brick of vanilla or have it smell so synthetic that it doesn't smell like vanilla anymore, this is the choice for you.
All those promises from other perfume houses that say it smells like a second skin? This one actually does. I am of the opinion that it actually sits better on skin than clothing, but that could just be my own body chemistry.
I think that it's the coconut that cuts through the heaviness of the vanilla and lightens it, with the sandalwood gentle enough to not announce its presence, but suggest that it is, indeed, in the room.
This is the kind of perfume you wear in a luxury resort painted in whitewash with large open areas and tasteful decorations in teal blue while everyone is wearing linen. It's understated luxury at its finest and should be at least tried before committing to. I certainly plan to be committing to a fullsize bottle soon.
